Chocolate Pots – Chocolate Dessert
These Chocolate Pots are like individual trifles, very yummy, quick & easy to make. A lovely sweet treat at Iftaar, tea time or Eid!
Ingredients for Chocolate Pots: (Chocolate Dessert)
1 chocolate Swiss roll. Shop bought is fine.
1 pkt of blue berries
1 pkt of strawberries
1 pkt of raspberries
1 pkt chocolate flavoured angel delight
300 mls of semi skimmed milk
1 tub of half fat creme fraiche
2 Cadbury’s chocolate flake bars
4 tall wine glasses
Method for Chocolate Pots: (Chocolate Dessert)
Make the angel delight as per the pkt instructions & set to one side, to thicken.
Wash the fruit & put a few blueberries, raspberries & chopped strawberries into the wine glasses.
Cut a slice of the chocolate Swiss roll and place it on top of the fruit, like you are assembling a trifle, & press it down a little with the back of a spoon.
Add a few tablespoons of the angel delight onto the swill roll cake and smooth over.
Then add a few teaspoons of the creme fraiche and smooth out
Lastly, crumble half of a flake on to the top of the creme fraiche & then chill in the fridge for at least 30 mins before serving.
